grows across his face,
as his fingers transfer his erratic thoughts.
A glorious battle between flesh and industry.
Change warms him with dancing light.
Two towers,
leak out a complicated rhythm,
many years of height and dust.
Symbols of hate and contradiction.
Examined with pain from innocent eyes,
crossing shadows at his feet.
Alone,
is the light.
Bathing everything in its reach.
Shamelessly bold as it shows off its power.
Inspirational to his pessimist observer;
although I assume power is a close friend of sorrow.
A statement,
the wise bird makes
from his remote perch.
In possession of what we seek.
Just

Admired by a girl who looks for time
She sees what she’s meant to and only weeps.
Broken clocks with eyes.
They were so painfully incognito.
Littered puzzle pieces mauled by dust and time.
Scars on film darkened their days, as stars and wishes lead to lust and crime.
Fate found them in stale caverns of the mind only to whisper: “I told you so”.
Seemingly admirable, they were never found.
Only sought by reflections. Only caught by hallucination.
Someone believed they were heaven bound.
They robbed the atmosphere of its warmth.
They sobbed for taste, driving an ominous storm
